If you like to rock out, the club hashad some superb Saturday nights over the past few months, where bands like Batman’s Cat, Bouncing Off Concrete and Sons of Boudicca, who have created a raucous party atmosphere.
If you prefer your music to be a little more relaxing, maybe you should come along to some of the Sunday afternoon sessions,where you can sing along to Sammy Bassie or Eurovision’s Josh Dubovie.
If your into making music yourself, then we host a very popular 'OPEN MIC NIGHT' the last Tuesday of each month!
A number of themed nights are regularly held.
The have included a Halloween Party, Valentines Night, School Disco,and Polish Night.
For St Patrick’s and St George’s Day celebration, these evenings will feature fancy dress, food, special cocktails, spot prizes and themed discos or live music.
Christmas is always a busy time, with parties for the children and for more senior members, as well as the club’s famous Christmas raffle and of course the Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve nights.
Each year the club hosts a Members’ Day and last year’s event was possibly the best to date.
There was a range of children’s and family activities throughout the day, with the bouncy castle, treasure hunt and skittles proving particularly popular.
The barbecue kept everyone well fed, and music was in evidence throughout the club.
The Kelvedon Labour Club is also the place to be if you enjoy indoor sports, games and quizzes.
The club competes in local darts and pool leagues, and also offers indoor games ranging from dominoes and scrabble to poker and Connect Four.
There is a monthly quiz night on the first Sunday of every month, as well as the occasional race night, casino evening or music quiz.
